A female Passer sparrow. Bill shape and colour, and head pattern, look more like House P. domesticus than Russet P. cinnamomeus.

From the recent update of species to the HK list:
House Sparrow was transferred to Category I of the HK List based on a record at Long Valley dated 2012-11-03
Presumably this is the same bird as referred to above - albeit two days earlier.
