Are they both Chestnut-tailed Starling?

Yup,Chestnut-tailed. The bill colour is diagnostic. Haven't seen them for quite some time...anyone know if they are still around Kowloon Park?

I am just interested to know why their colors are so different. Are they different subspecies?

Matthew, up to four recorded in Kowloon Park in 2014 (after no records in 2013) so maybe just hanging on. See here
