WWF的香港觀鳥大賽2016將於1月30日星期六舉行。這一年一度盛事籌得的款項這對我們的米埔濕地保育工作非常重要。今年的比賽所籌得的款項將用於復修基圍8b的蘆葦叢。

為了使比賽順利進行及確保公眾安全，我們將會於1月30日星期六暫時關閉兩間浮屋，供香港觀鳥大賽參加者使用(見下圖紅色部分)。如閣下希望當日到泥灘觀鳥,請只使用中間兩間浮屋(見下圖綠色部分)，所有浮屋將於翌日正常開放。

The 2016 WWF Big Bird Race will take place on Saturday 30 January. This annual event is important to raise fund for our wetland management works at Mai Po. Fund raised this year will be used to renovate the reed-bed in Gei wai #8b.

In order to facilitate the race and ensure public safety, we need to close off two of the floating bird-watching hides on Saturday 30 January. Two hides will be closed for use by BBR participants only, as shown on the attached map in red. If you intend to visit the mudflat on that day, please only use the other hides (shown in green). All hides will be open again as usual on the following day.

I think the map is showing now. It's the two outermost hides which will be closed.
