The sound is recorded on 9 Jun 2016 when I go up the Needle hill. The call start with a high frequency sound like the feedback produced by a microphone, but it is not heard from my record as I use a mobile phone to record the sound.

Thank you very much for your reply! I heard the sound several times as I walk along the Maclehose Trail, but I never see the bird.
