昨天本會調查員於米埔自然護理區16/17號基圍發現一隻環誌的黑臉琵鷺，環誌編號為247。經本會核實後，該隻黑臉琵鷺是今年1月18日於由中國鳥類環誌中心於海南島東方保護區環誌，環誌是相信該隻琵鷺為幼鳥，故其很大可能會於米埔度過本個夏天，這個亦是香港第一次紀錄到中國大陸環誌的黑臉琵鷺。如果有鳥友於之前曾目擊此隻琵鷺，歡迎聯絡我們或將紀錄上傳到黑臉琵鷺記錄系統，謝謝！

A banded Black-faced Spoonbill was sighted at Mai Po Nature Reserve Gei wai 16/17 with a number 247 color band. We contacted the researchers and reserve office in Mainland China and found that the bird was ringed on 18 Jan 2016 at Dongfang, Hainan. The bird was believe to be a juvenile when it banded at Hainan, so it maybe stay at Mai Po in this summer. This is the first record of a banded Black-faced Spoonbill which was banded in Mainland China. I saw this bird on #16/17 on 4th June, in a group of 8 BfS.
It was also still present at the same place on 11th June.

明白了, 謝謝IVAN!
觀察中這幼鳥似乎右邊腳部受了傷,
情況看似不太嚴重!但或者因此不適合遠行而留下!
而且身體羽毛亦較為骯髒, 亦有可能因腳傷而不良於清潔!
昨天也拍一段短片, 可以看到步伐不太正常!
