I've had this camera for some time but haven't used it much as it is difficult to match to an eyepiece with the standard Canon adapter to avoid vignetting. I finally had an adapter made which is about 6 mm shorter than the Canon one so that the lens can be closer to the eyepiece in a couple of positions in the zoom without vignetting. It works best with the Swarovski 30x eyepiece (20 mm of Eye Relief ). The lens is one of the sharpest that Canon has produced for digicams and one of the sharpest that DPReview has reviewed

It's a shame that the LCD screen is so poor. Lot's of nice features though, including a programmable Self-timer for speed and number of frames. Fast enough for most applications at 1.5 frames per second Continuously.
