Film Director Liang 梁皆得導演 will be stopping over in Hong Kong on 28 December and he has agreed to give exclusive screening right of his high-definition masterpiece: "Black Kites of Taiwan" to The Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Bird Watching Society (HKBWS). After the show, he will meet with the audience of Hong Kong to talk about ecological issues of Taiwan central to his film about the black kite, an apex predator in Taiwan.
In addition, HKBWS will offer a general introduction to raptors of Hong Kong after the film show. Through this film show and follow-up talks by Director Liang and HKBWS, the audience may get a better understanding of the birds of Hong Kong and Taiwan and relevant issues of chemical-environmental degradation and its impact on biodiversity.
