I have all the permits for birdwatching in Mai Po but I find I often miss the best times due to the tides and feel rather disappointed.

Thx. Derek. I think you suggest a route along the broadway before the entrance to no.107 Gate to the forbidden area. So if I come at the time of rising tide above 1.5m, I should take this way, right?
I still have some questions:
1. How about if I want to go outside gate no. 107 to those bird hides at ends of the floating bridge, should I go at times of dropping tide below 1.5m?
2. What is the optimal tide level to go to the bird hide of HKBWS?
