Dear Kent,
Thank you for your compliments. The first batch of photographs was taken on 17th December 2016 whereas the second batch was taken on 10th December 2016. There were lots of birds in Long Valley in December, as are other months of the year. Some people do not take photographs of common birds but I think all birds are equal. This is one reason that my posts usually have more bird photos, including photos of very common birds.
