Thanks for reporting the ringed little egret.
Here I would like to share the detail of the bird with you.

This adult little egret was tangled by fish line, it was found in Kennedy town harbour pier on 9 Nov 2016.
The bird was rehabilitated in Kadoorie farm and released near Taipo egrety on 11 Nov 2016, interestingly the bird went back to Kennedy town.
It is good to see the bird again!

Hi Ernest,
My name is Amanda Crow and I have been overseeing the bird rehabilitation
programme at Kadoorie Farm's Wild Animal Rescue Centre for the past 20 years.

I was delighted to see your photo of the ringed Little Egret and to know that it was doing well post release and that it had returned to Kennedy Town Praya of its own accord despite being released at the Egretry in Tai Po.
We would like to run a short story on our facebook page about this case and wondered if you would be so kind as to allow us to use your photo? You of course would be credited as the photographer.
