這本書据說是香港原版的簡體字版，有點懷疑是否正版書？

原版雖然由政府新聞處出版，但版權是由三位人士（作者）擁有。若要合理解説，就是該等作者，已經把版權賣給該教育出版社。

"The Birds of Hong Kong and Southern China"是英文版的書名，但此書的英文翻譯是“A Field Guide to Birds of Hong Kong and Southern Mainland of China"，令人摸不著頭腦。但湖南教育出版社是國有事業單位，斷估老番的機會不高，淘寳仲賣緊￥36咁平，真係懸疑。
