Six birds were in the trees around the Lotus Pond in front of the Education Centre at Mai Po this morning.

Is this a high count?

I also had another at Lut Chau, although the six birds did fly off in that direction.

These are currently fairly regular around Mai Po, Lut Chau and Kam Tin. There are often a few together, but I don't often see as many as six. I think they now breed nearby and may be getting established. It's worth submitting any sightings so that we can monitor the establishment.
