A very common Chinese Bulbul put up for sharing to demonstrate the smoothness of background after running Neat Image. It has less effect on the sharpnees of the subject. I hope this can help those DC user in digiscopic photography--a common problem in dc.

Wing,
A very big THANKS for finding Neat Image, it is very easy to use and up to a certain image size it is free of charge.
You have now created a major problem for me as I will have to go through all my old shots and apply the filter.
The attached shot was taken on my 1st day's digiscoping.

Wing,
Agree Neat Image is great tool. Mind you CS2 has the NR tool as well.
BTW, nice shot despite the over exposure there!
Bob,
Careful not to over do it as any NR program would 'take away' detail from the original image. This one (posted) looks rather plaster like already ... Author: tbob Time: 14/07/2007 08:22
KK,
Your comments, as always, are noted and I will be "light"handed on applying any noise reduction.
Thanks
