I see Riparia martins on occasion, without having ever had the chance to photograph them.
I am a little confused. Is either Sand Martin Riparia riparia or Pale Martin Riparia diluta commonly found in Hong Kong? Or both? Is it the case that the only subspecies of the latter that ventures into Hong Kong is fokhiensis?
Are there any ID criteria that have proven particularly useful in Hong Kong?
