沉痛哀悼本會副主席吳祖南博士離世
本會沉痛地宣告本會副主席吳祖南博士於12月13日下午與世長辭，吳博士為香港大學地理系副教授，早年受林超英先生啟發，加入觀鳥行列，並成為本會副主席。吳博士一直致力從事自然保育工作，他於日前因中風入院，延至13日下午離世。本會對吳博士多年為鳥類保育工作深表感謝，祈願吳博士家人節哀順變。

In memory of Dr NG Cho-nam, our Vice-chairman
We are very sorry to announce that our Vice-President Dr. Ng Cho-Nam passed away on 13 December 2019. Dr. Ng was the Associate Professor of Department of Geography, University of Hong Kong. He started bird watching with inspirations from Mr. Lam Chiu-ying and later served as Vice-President of the Society. Dr Ng devoted his whole life to nature conservation. Unfortunately, he was admitted to hospital after a stroke a day ago and passed away on 13 December afternoon. HKBWS would like to express our deepest gratitude to Dr. Ng for his dedication in bird conservation and our sincere condolences to his family.
