Subject: [Hong Kong] A dark bird [Print This Page]

What is the name of this dark bird at MPNR today? Cuckoo? Koel? Is it a young bird? But its eye does not look reddish. How to identify it?

Thank you for the reply. We also thought it to be a common Koel, may be juvenile male. However, the iris was not red in the photo taken. (Sorry, for poor photo taken far away.) Its beak was not big and thick.
