Update: A44 was rescued, rehabilitated and released into the wild by the KFBG Wild Animal Rescue Centre in March 2019 .

Update: A44 was spotted on 9/12 in GW21, Mai Po Nature Reserve, according to the Black-faced Spoonbill Conversation Network.
