BirdLife International and IUCN have just published the 2023 Red List of birds, this is aimed to updated threatened status of some birds in the world, including several species which have been recorded in Hong Kong:
White-faced Plover: Data Deficient to Least Concern
Siberian Sand Plover: Not recognised (because of a new split) to Endangered
Tibetan Sand Plover: Not recognised (because of a new split) to Least Concern
Oriental Dwarf Kingfisher: Least Concern to Near Threatened
Japanese Paradise Flycatcher: Near threatened to Least Concern.
