UU - ringed on 28-Sep-2022, most record from you at Nam Sang Wai. One record in Shenzhen in October.

WA - ringed on 26-Nov-2022, this is the 1st record after 2 years!

AJ - ringed on 20-Sep-2020, 21 records in total from both Mai Po, Nam Sang Wai and Shenzhen.

SX - ringed on 28-Sep-2022, only the 4th record: Oct-22 at Mai Po, Jan-23 at Nam Sang Wai, Mar-23 in Shenzhen.

XT - ringed on 15-Nov-23 and fitted with GPS tracker, all 4 records from Nam Sang Wai. GPS records show that it bred in East Russia (near Sakhalin Island) this summer.

Spotted Redshank N0 was ringed on 14-Apr-2022. Almost all records are from Nam Sang Wai.

BFS A51 was a bird rescued at the beginning of this year. It was treated at KFBG and released back to wild on 1-Feb-2024 with a GPS tracker. It was recorded back at Incheon in South Korea this summer and return to Deep Bay for this winter.

Thanks Katherine Happy to see some familiar faces and new birds.

I checked the photo of XT taken in March 2024, there was no GPS tracker on its back, was it newly installed?

The GPS tracker is probably covered by feathers of the bird, hence not visible in photo.
