Hi Steen,
I am delighted to see these photos.
This spoonbill was rehabilitated at the Kadoorie Farm Wild Animal Rescue Centre after being found sick in January 2001.
Upon recovery it was ringed by Paul Leader (AEC) and released at Mai Po on 1st February 2001. It was first resighted in winter 2001/2002 and so it is a pleasure to know it is still doing well some 6 years later.
It appears to have lost its number ring (A25).
cheers

This is not the only Black-faced Spoonbill that owes its existence to Amanda, A26 was also taken to KFBG Rescue Centre and later released.
