This is not a Hong Kong ringed bird. I have contacted other ringers in east Asia, hopefully we can at least find out in which country it was ringed.

I have had the following info back form Kiyoaki Ozaki in Japan:
Thank you for your information.
We are sure that the ring is one of Japanese!
But so far we cannot find the banding data.
Maybe it is newly banded and still not reported the banding data.

"From this picture and the picture of HKBWS, we are almost sure that the ring
is 2AA-358??.
If it is so, we have only one possibility, which was banded on 25.Oct. 2007
at Niigata Prefecture as Male Juvenile."
