I think this is a japanese sparrowhawk as well. The tail seems fairly short and the wings fairly long and narrow.
The underpart patterning (especially the throat breast) is different from the bird you posted before but that could be age/sex-related or individual variation. Author: hkinni Time: 9/11/2006 20:55
