Sadly, the extensive damage to the coverts (on both sides) and extensive wear to the tail with many feather regowing are strongly suggestive that this is an ex-cage bird. No turdus in HK should be in moult at this time. Author: lwingkay Time: 13/02/2008 22:45
Cthomas's reminded me of a chestnut-capped thrush I took last year in Sir Edward Yolde Aviary. The plumage was not only beautiful but also lustrous. Singing was her favourite pastime. She sang the whole time I saw her.
