I think it is a Tufted Duck.
The white band around base of bill and the rounded head are not obvious enough for the Greater Scaup.

Hi Simon,

Can you tell me how many Tufted Ducks you had seen in Nam Sang Wai?
If I remembered correctly, this is the first time I heard Tufted Duck was seen in NSW.

Nice capture of this duck.

only 1 ~ 2 ducks in 20 / 21 , find more duck in NSW than MP , strange phenomena :roll:

I saw 3 in Nam Sang Wai yesterday but Hendrix had seen more today.
