I think you are the one I met last time shooting kingfishers in CUHK; I was digiscoping then. Nice to see your posting.
Did pay my first visit to Long Valley lately. Not much to shoot then unfortunately. Perhaps, still not autumn enough. Better say I need more time to get acquainted with the environment there.
You have an awesome collection of avian shots in Hiddenplace. Very pleasant viewing. It seems that the manual 500mm is serving you well. Keep up the good work.

Yes, nice to meet you too. Last week I went to LV and there were many plovers, Sandpipers and Black-winged Stilts at the far side ponds. It was sooooo hot

. May be try again in next month.

Thanks for visiting my site and glad you like the photos. Some of them were took by 400mm f5.6 and 300mm f2.8 + 2x TC. The current 500mm FD lens was "new", I used only 3 months and very happy with it.
