So, at last, was the bug eaten by the bird? Thanks, Captain Author: HKBWS Vicky Time: 21/10/2008 09:50
haha.... i want to know too~
btw, it should be a long horned beetle. Is it too big for a flycatcher? Author: John Holmes Time: 21/10/2008 17:20 Subject: Asian Brown Flycatcher on Po Toi
HKBWS Office: - "Longhorn Beetle" - noted, thanks for that.
Captain: - Actually, when I took the photo I didn't notice the beetle. The AB Fly swooped forward towards me, and went to another perch, and I couldn't see it. I guess it carried the beetle with it, but I don't know.
These flycatchers will tackle big dragonflies, so the size of a beetle should be no problem.
