i reckon that this is a brown shrike female though it's difficult to pin down without a clear view of its mantle. any different view?

I infact think this is a male Bull-headed. Grey back, rufous crown, bulky bills, white patch on the primaries and most of all a grey tail. Also, may we please know the location of the bird please??
