I believe this is a Radde's type warbler - is it?

If it is, is it Yellow-streaked? The bill seems abnormally long?

Photos taken on Po Toi, Tuesday 28 November.

The bill certainly looks long - whatever it is!

But I think this is an Asian Stubtail - the long supercilium, strong black eyestripe and the very stubby body shape all suggest this secies to me, but I admit it is hard to work out which part is the tail.

Cheers

Thanks Mike, I see what you mean.

The problem with taking photographs is you don't get to see the bird properly. But the tail doesn't look so short in these two photos and although I only looked at the bird briefly before starting to photograph, I feel sure I would have noticed a very stubby tail.

I'm with Mike on this one - very long bill, super-long supercilium, broad very dark eyestripe and much mottling on the ear coverts extending on the sides of the breast (see especially photo 1). Also to me the legs look pinkish. All this seems to me to add up to Asian Stubtail.

Best regards

OK, thanks to both Mikes.
It seems I got the tail length all wrong.
