I've been sent info on and photos of an adult White-bellied Sea-Eagle, perching on bamboo scaffolding just west of Convention Centre.
Attracted by reclamation work leading to prey being available??

Seen by John Saeki; he reckons there a month ago, but was there yesterday and today.

Photos taken by James Lo

May be the same bird. Mr Lo found this bird usually stays on the waterfront of Wanchai of the last few weeks behind Academic of Performance Art.

Regardless a white-bellied sea eagle is standing up on the Sai Kung mountain, perching on bamboo scaffolding in Wanchai, even being captured in the cage of Kadoorie Farm, it always carries the flair of "King of Sea Bird in Hong Kong".  How amazing.................
