A visit to Southern Lamma on 7th September turned up a nice selection of migrants.
Asian Paradise Flycatcher
Yellow-rumped Flycatcher (female)
2 Pale-legged/Sakhalin Leaf Warblers
Pallas's Grasshopper Warbler
Chestnut-winged Cuckoo
Common Sandpiper
Also 2 emerald doves were heard
In Sok Kwu Wan Bay
16 Chinese Pond Herons (these were flying around looking like they were confused migrants)
1 Whimbrel (flying over the island in the rain)
2 Pacific Reef Egrets
These birds were all in the far south of the island - south of Sok Kwu Wan. I'm sure plenty more must be present elsewhere on the island!
