Recently, the citizens of Hong Kong started to notice that there are still many wild animals treating the "concrete forest" as their homes because of the case of dropping steel rods from a Magpie's nest in Tuen Mun. In fact, many wild animals, especially birds, do not just feed in the city but also breed here. In order to encourage citizens to protect bird nests in Hong Kong, we invited some volunteers to help record the progress of nest-building and the growth of the chicks regularly. To ensure that the photography of bird nests won't affect both the birds and the nests, the record work is carried out by fixed volunteers. If you have discovered some nests which can be monitored without disturbing the birds, please contact us by PM or email(hkb ws@hk bws.org.hk)so that we can make an appropriate arrangement.
Thank you very much for your support! Hope that wild birds in Hong Kong can have their Home Sweet Home~
