大灰啄木鳥Great Slaty Woodpecker (Mulleripicus pulverulentus)是啄木鳥科其中一個成員，分布於中國、印尼、印尼、及泰國等地。生境為熱帶及亞熱帶森林區。

全球約有34個屬208種啄木鳥。啄木鳥名稱正正描繪牠們的行為，牠們有著強硬的喙，尾羽羽幹堅挺，起支撐作用。腳趾兩前兩後為對趾足。啄木鳥大部分時間都不停地用尖嘴去啄木頭，尋找生長於樹木中的昆蟲作食糧。啄木鳥的舌自頭骨後繞過，從鼻孔達到喙尖，這結構可使舌頭伸出很長以深入樹木內尋找昆蟲，牠們尤愛在枯木上啄孔尋找食物。

晨早起來，輕輕啄吓木先... Having woodpecking in the morning...

無野食, 行上d先... No food. Go up then...

"裝"吓個窿, 有無野食先... Any insects in the hole?

有無呢?? Anything?

個窿都無野既, 去第二度lu~ Nothing can be found. go other places then...

I never heard anybody saw this species in China in the last 10 years. I hope they will return.
