Congratulations and nice shots!  The weather seemed to be quite nice as enough sunlight can be felt from your photos!

Yes, we are very lucky.  The first 2.5 days were sunny day but the last 1.5 days were not good!

Very nice pictures from a place I'd very much like to visit.

Isn't your unknown owl a Barred Owlet? Also don't you think the bunting is a Little Bunting?

I had no idea Oriental White Stork bred in that area, so far south.

Thanks again for posting so many pictures.

Nice photos!! The unknown Owl looks like an Asian Barred Owlet, and the Yellow-browed Bunting should be a Little Bunting.

Thank you very much for your information about the ID of the Barred Owlet.  I have checked to the decriptions and the pictures of a Little Bunting and a Yellow-browed Bunting in the Guidebook of birds in Hong Kong and South China again but still find difficulty to distinguish them .... ...

In addition the Pallas's Grasshopper Warbler is a Japanaese Marsh Warbler Megalurus pryeri.  This is I think the first record for the area (although has recently been found breeding in high numbers at Poyang).

Yes, it is a good place for landscape photos also but our schedule for birdwatching is very tight already!  Thus, I had not prepared for this.
