“Bird watching training course – intermediate level” is aim on enhancing participant’s bird watching skill and enriching their knowledge about birds hoping that participants can further develop their interest on bird watching. This course composed of 4 lectures and 4 field trips including different types of practices. Certification would be given to successful graduate.
Major course contents:
Nocturnal Birds
Anatidae in Hong Kong
Identification of common waders
Introduction to bird ecology
The breeding birds in Hong Kong
Easy bird sound identification
Where to find the rare birds.

Course fee: $980 (non-member) $780 (member)
$580 (Age over 55 senior or student member; only 10 vacancies)
Lectures: 2/2/2007, 9/2/2007, 9/3/2007, 16/3/2007 (4 nights)
Field Trips: Shek Kong Airfield Road (half day) Nam Sang Wai (half day)
Mai Po (whole day) Tai Po Kau (half day)
Lecture venue: Room 11Scout Association of Hong Kong, Tsim Sha Tsui
Lecture time: 7:00p.m.- 9:30p.m.
Medium of Instruction: Cantonese
* Priority is given to those whom have finished the elementary bird watching course provided by Hong Kong Bird Watching Society.
** Graduate is qualified for entering advanced course in future.
