28/6/2009 Mirs Bay/Tap Mun Boat Trip 大鵬灣及西貢東部水域觀鳥活動

Date: 28/6/2009 Sunday
Time: 08:15 - 16:00
Gathering Place: Ma Liu Shiu Pier (the new pier) (For the location of gathering place, please visit: http://www.hkbws.org.hk/web/eng/islands_eng.htm#3)
Fare: HK$200/Member; HK$250/Non-member
Target Species: Seabirds (Terns)
Route: Start from Ma Liu Shiu, One hour at Tap Mun for lunch, 16:00 Finish at Sai Kung Pier
Note: This will be a long trip on open waters. The ride could be quite rough and some people may get seasick. Those who want to leave at lunchtime may take the ferry (departing hourly) at Tap Mun for Wong Shek Pier. The fare is non-refundable irrespective of early departure from Tap Mun.

We will confirm participants about 1 weeks before the outing whether their reservation application is accepted or not. Once the reservation is confirmed, we will not accept any withdrawal. All the registered participants are required to pay the prescribed fare, no matter they can attend the outing or not. If we cancel the outing due to inclement weather or special reason, the paid fare will be refunded to the participants.

目標鳥種：海鳥(燕鷗)
行程路線：馬料水碼頭出發，塔門午膳一小時，16:00 回到西貢碼頭  
注意：由於航程頗長，而且所經之處多是開闊海域，風浪較大，部份人士可能會感 到不適。參加者可於午膳時在塔門提前離開，轉乘小輪(每小時一班)到黃石碼頭， 但船費恕不退回。  

本會將於活動舉行前約一星期確實參加者的報名是否被接受，所有被確實的報名，本會將不會接受退出，無論參加者能否出席，都必須繳付所需的交通費用。如果是次活動是因為惡劣天氣或特殊情況而被本會取消，本會將會退回參加者所繳付的費用。

由於租船費用比預期高，故此我們決定將活動收費調整為 會員: $200, 非會員 $250.
已報名的參加者可在活動當日將附加之費用交給領隊。
如有任何問題，歡迎與香港觀鳥會職員聯絡 (電話:2377 4387)。

Due to the unexpected high boat rent, we decided to adjust the application fee of this boat trip to Member: $200, Non-member - $250.
For those participants who have already paid the application fee, you can give the additional charge to the leader on the activity day.

有關惡劣天氣安排:
若於早上七時或開航前伋懸掛三號風球或以上 或 黑色暴雨警告，活動將延期至另行通知。
如出航前(早上8:15前)懸掛一號風球或紅色暴雨警告，或出航前兩小時(早上6:15)如果由較高風球改為一號風球及黑色暴雨驚告改為紅色暴雨警告，活動將會繼續。

Bad weather arrangement:
The activity will be postponed if Typhoon signal no. 3 or above OR Black rainstorm warning is hoisted at 7am that morning.
The activity will be continued if Typhoon signal no. 1 or Red rainstorm warning is hoisted.

由於天雨關係，船公司換了一架較大的船，所以現在尚有活動名額，如有興趣，請致電9457 3196 向活動領隊預留位置，活動費用請於活動當日交給活動領隊。

今天的活動共有 36 人出席。
雖然星期五曾掛過三號風球，但是上午天氣還算可以，
可以走訪大鵬灣內兩個燕鷗島。
下午天氣轉差，船未到大浪灣便遇上大浪和大雨，
只好取消下半部行程，折返馬料水。

36 people participated in today's outing.
While Signal No. 3 was up just last Friday, the weather in the morning was reasonable, giving us a chance to visit 2 tern islands in Mirs Bay.
Unfortunately, we were forced to cancel the afternoon route due to rough sea and heavy rain.
We finished at Ma Liu Shui.
