The most recent number of HKBWS members in 2009 has reach 1150. This is a healthy increase from last year. By the end of 2009, may be this number can reach 1200. Thanks to the membership sub-committee in promoting very hard to achieve this.

I am a starter and want to join HKBWS to learn more. However I understand that I need to pay full annual fee for the remaining 5 months in 2009. Probably just participate as non-member in your activities and wait till 1 Jan 2010 to join, just like waiting a bird.

You may like to join the beginner's bird watching class at the end of the year.
