一個以研究白腹海鵰為目標的研究組於二00八年十二月正式成立。研究組將透過實地考察及資料搜集了解白腹海鵰在香港的分佈及繁殖狀況，並會定期公佈研究結果，令大家更深入瞭解這種形態優美的猛禽。研究組現時以小型考察研究為主，稍候將考慮作公開性的觀賞活動。研究組將繼續招募會員以增強研究組的實力，有興趣加入研究組的朋友，可電郵聯絡我們(wb se@hkb ws.org.hk - 使用此電郵地址前請先刪除中間的空格)。

A White-bellied Sea Eagle Research Group was established in December 2008 with the aim of studying the ecology of White-bellied Sea Eagle in Hong Kong. The Group will report regularly the result to let people know more about this beautiful raptor. The Group operates in small-scale research study and will consider organizing outing later.
