燕子研究組 Swift and Swallow Resarch Group

燕子研究組成立於2003年, 目的主要為研究本地的家燕與小白腰雨燕的生態，及推廣有關牠們的保育工作。研究組從事有關香港家燕與小白腰雨燕的燕巢數量及使用狀況的研究，並按有關研究撰寫報告，同時亦舉行「燕巢普查」工作坊，為新加入的義工提供燕巢調查的基礎訓練。

研究組成員包括召集人為劉偉民，另外六名核心組員及數十名熱心義工調查員，志願者來自香港觀鳥會會員或紅耳鵯俱樂部成員。

The research group was established in 2003 with the aim of investigating the ecology of Barn Swallow and House Swift in Hong Kong and promoting their conservation. In terms of research, the group investigates the number of Barn Swallow's and House Swift's nests and checks the situation of the nests regularly . Research reports are also written. Workshops for surveying nests of Barn Swallow and House Swift are provided for new volunteers.

Members: Mr. Apache Lau is the convener and there are 6 core members and tens of voluntary surveyors. The volunteers are coming from members of HKBWS or Crested Bulbul Club.
