After watching the post writtern by Thinfor , I started my 1st birding on Lamma Island today . I went there with two schoolmates. We walked along the Family Walk and visited Yung Shue Long Village . Most of the birds such as Greater Coucal and Red Turtle Dove were found in this Village. Besides , we also found a Black-winged Cuckoo-shrike ( probably a male one ) near the Pak Kok Kau Tsuen.

A pity that we couldn't see any Chinese Francolins which are local residents on Lamma Island.

P.S.  We met a nice foreign birdwatcher today . Thank you for showing us a lovely Black Drongo. :-)

The last photo shows a first-winter male Red Turtle Dove, showing a mixture of juvenile and adult male plumage.

I was also on Lamma (southern Lamma) earlier this week - although there weren't many migrants, I did see:
Forest Wagtail x1
Arctic Warbler x10
Black-winged Cuckoo-shrike x1
Dusky Warbler x1
Bright-capped Cisticola x1
