I'd agree that the 'C' is for Citrine Wagtail. However, I'm worried about the black lores and thin white wingbars on the lesser/median coverts. So on the whole, I'd go for Yellow Wagtail for this one. It'd be lovely to hear expert opinion on this (problematic?) juvenile! =) Author: HFCheung Time: 27/10/2009 19:48
I would go for Citrine. Not only the C, but also the lighter colour inside the dark ear covert. Overall, it looks greyer than a normal 1st winter Yellow Wagtail.
