I could not think of any waders except the chick of Black-winged Stilt. But is the bill still too short for a stilt chick?

Manson it's a non-breeding Little Ringed Plover. =) Author: thinfor Time: 2/11/2009 23:24
Thanks Koel. From my first glance thru telescope, I thought it was a little-ringed plover too. But the long reddish legs seemed quite strange!
Well, anyway that's good. At least my first instinct telling me that 'it's a plover' is indeed quite true. Author: kkoel Time: 2/11/2009 23:42
I was thinking about that too, the long reddish legs do look a bit out of place. But as the rest of the bird seemed to suggest Little Ring, let's put it as an apparent LRP XD Author: cwchan Time: 3/11/2009 11:14
They are not red legs, it is coloured fringe while you have your shot taking against the light, I think.
This red-coloured fringing is not uncommon for using low quality telescope for digiscoping or low quality tele-lens.
