Activity Information
Details of the Sha Lo Tung and Fung Yuen Outing to be held on 20 December 2009 as below:

Date: 20/12/2009 Sunday
Gathering place: 08:00 Taxi Station next to Tai Po Market MTR Station
Time: 8:00 - 12:00
Leaders: Dr. Cheng Ho Fai
Target Species: Wintering forest and farmland birds

Free of Charge for all members.
HK$30 for non-member.

It is an excellent day for a walk. We got sunny blue sky all day, and the wind is light.
There were about 40 participants, and many newcomers from the recently completed bird watching class. The best show were: Fork-tailed Sunbird, Red-vented Bulbul, Daurian Redstart, Common Tailorbird, Common Buzzard, and Verditar Flycatcher. Totally 42 species were seen.
