some weeks ago at Nam San Wai Rd, I've come across a Chinese Pond Heron eating something at a distance by the pond side. The 'food' looked like a piece of bark (about A4 size) to me, with one side lighter (almost white like paperbark tree) than the other. It had great difficulty in swallowing.
