I seem to have forgotten about one of the great digicams in the market currently and how it would digiscope.
I have fiddled around with G Series cameras since my G6 days but found it difficult due to the design of their lenses.
The Kowa 25x LER eyepiece , with 32 mm of Eye Relief is a good match for difficult lenses ( it will also handle long zooms ). So recently I've been using the G12 a bit more. I particularly like it's rotatable screen and it's Continuous Raw shooting. Although the frame rate is not fast , there are occasions when Continuous is more important eg when Egret is grooming and you want to capture lot's of different poses.
