香港觀鳥會在三大保育範疇上提供意見包括：

1.      環境影響評估條例 (第499章) 下的環境影響評估報告
2.      城市規劃條例 (第131章) 下的規劃申請、分區計劃大綱草圖及發展審批地區圖
3.      公眾/社區參與

The Society actively provides advice on conservation issues in three areas:

1. Environmental Impact Assessment reports under the Environmental Impact Assessment Ordinance (Cap. 499);
2. Planning Applications, Draft Outline Zoning Plans, Development Permission Area under the Town Planning Ordinance (Cap. 131); and
3. Public/community Engagement.
