really great photos. When I went to Dead Vlei (Nov 2006), I only saw a black-winged kite and some grey-backed sparrow-larks. The highlight was a Spotted Eagle Owl, which we found on the road, when we were driving to Dune 45, before dawn.
I think I saw the exact same Sociable Weaver nest that you took, back in 2006. Or may be it was bigger at the time...
