For beginners, just a tour around the ponds to see egrets, cormorants and some ducks will arouse their interests and there is no need to fully occupy the northern bird hide for 10:00 to 15:00, which basically is the whole day for bird watching, for so many days.
The northern bird hide is special, and it attracts keen bird watchers and the best bird photographers. With due respect, restricting these people to the northern bird hide solely for introducing ecology or bird watching to beginners is a wrong allocation of resources.
