Weather: Amber rain storm with thunder

More than two years I have not been to this once popular birding place. Missing it, so I went yesterday. Although in such bad weather, I am contended with the female Common Rosefinch. This is my first time seeing it in Hong Kong Island.

1) Black Kite - 2 perched on adjacent roof top, 1 perched on tree near the Youth Hostel
2) Black-throated Laughingthrush
3) Greater Coucal
4) Blue Magpie x 5
5) Chinese Bulbul
6) Red-whiskered Bulbul
7) Spotted Dove x 2
8) Black-collared Starling x 2
9) Crested Mynah x 2
10) Blue and White Flycatcher (male) x 1
11) Common Rosefinch (female) x 2
12) Magpie Robin
14) Yellow-browed Warbler
15) Large-billed Crow x 3
16) Common Tailorbird
17) Black-faced Laughingthrush
18) Large Hawk Cuckoo
19) Blue Whistling Thrush x 3
20) Squirrel
