It's been a long time since I last visited, really should visit a bit more! Early morning was not crowded like Tai Po Kau.

Speckled Piculet x1 seen very briefly, but enough for positive identification, good to know they are still here.

Thank you John, this was the first time I seen the Ng Tung Chai Speckled Piculet, remember going there dozens of times in the past and came back empty!

Good day for raptors. An Oriental Honey Buzzard drifted past at around 10 O'clock. Besra flew by twice and a pair of Crested Goshawk patrolled the sky constantly. At least 4 Dollarbirds in the valley.

You're welcome! I initially thought it was a Crested Serpent Eagle too, but just looked wrong after a second look.

2 more photographs if it's of any help, however the shape and in flight wing shape still feels wrong to me especially when I was out on the field. The head also seems smaller for CSE. Any thoughts?

After more comparison, I would agree this is indeed a CSE. My mistake, and sorry for anyone who were with me that day if I did in fact misled you.
