Just out of curiosity I am wondering how this is going to work? Surely, when you get birders going to the gate every 5 minutes before rising tide or receding tide the police are going to be VERY busy? I can imagine a huge line building up between police arrivals and also people being locked inside having to wait till police arrive so they can get out? And think of the potential danger this put birders in...when huge line of birders try to get to the hide asap after the police open the gate and a lot of people getting onto the floating bridge at once...I can foresee some pretty obvious disasters and accidents awaiting to happen...
